APPEAL

Dear fellow alumni,

This is a matter of rejoice and celebration for us to assemble in the same campus which was our second home one time. Our past is brief but glorious. Thirty-Six year is not a very long time span in an institution’s life. In this brief time span since its inception as a Government Medical College named Bhagalpur Medical College in year 1971 with hand picked learned and renowned teachers from existing Medical Colleges in the state, it has produced many illustrious doctors in various specialties who excelled in their respective fields nationally and internationally alike from batch one and has continued to do so.

As institutes grow in age, some traditions take shape, laid down by the beginners, to carve an identity, of individuals and institution, which in due course of time become characteristic of its products in which we should take pride and must inculcate further down to coming batches and generations. For this we need to meet at regular intervals so that we can meet with each other to renew our links as well meet our new generations to pass on the traditions and values we behold precious. With these intent and desire, we wish to meet once in a decade in the form of All Alumni Meet. We have decided to organize one this year on   25^th November, 2007.

To make this event successful we not only have to come and attend it but also contribute generously as per our capacity financially and physically. There shall not be any fixed registration charge and every body that has been associated with Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College of Bhagalpur is welcome back in its fold. I on behalf of the organizing committee, solicit your wholehearted participation and contribution to make this event successful and grand.
